50/50 FORTUNE - RULES & REGULATIONS
General: By purchasing a ticket in the SickKids 50/50 Fortune, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or procedures of lotteries may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation (“SickKids Foundation”) prior to the purchase of a ticket. All orders will be processed and fulfilled by SickKids Foundation via an electronic raffle management system registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of the electronic raffle management system shall be deemed correct and final. The liability of SickKids Foundation shall be limited to the purchase price of the 50/50 Fortune tickets.
Eligibility: By purchasing a ticket in the SickKids 50/50 Fortune raffle, the purchaser confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and located in the province of Ontario. Only tickets that have been paid for and have been verified as paid for are eligible for the respective draws. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets or obtaining benefit from the prize offering: SickKids Foundation staff and Board of Directors; The Hospital for Sick Children Executive Team and Board of Trustees; employees of registered gaming suppliers; and members of the same household of each of the above.
Tickets: Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. Tickets must be ordered from the Province of Ontario, and may be ordered online at 5050fortune.ca. Tickets will be available until December 18, 2025 at 8:30AM EDT. Purchasers should receive their tickets within a few minutes of placing an order. All tickets in a bundle pack must contain the same name and electronic mailing address. Only one method of payment will be accepted with any ticket order and purchases are not tax deductible. The official emailed 50/50 Fortune ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draws. No refunds will be issued after the commencement of the draws. If you have not received your ticket(s), please contact the customer service line at 416-813-6166 or email lottery.info@sickkidsfoundation.com for a replacement.
Prizes/Draws: Prizes will be awarded as listed. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. There are no restrictions on how to use the prize proceeds. All draws will be conducted at the offices of SickKids Foundation. All draws will be made using Random Number Generator (RNG) software provided by BUMP, A Division of CBN, which will randomly select one (1) potential winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the prize draws. All draw times are approximate. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws. Please allow four weeks to receive prize cheques. Unclaimed prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following the close of the applicable SickKids raffle. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Prize Winner Notification: Prizes will be awarded to the purchaser listed on the ticket. All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. Winners may also be contacted by telephone and all winning ticket numbers will be posted at 5050fortune.ca. Prize winners will be required to provide identification verifying an age of 18 years or older.
Privacy: By claiming a prize, the winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and the audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone call, for any publicity purposes by SickKids Foundation. SickKids Foundation respects the privacy of its lottery supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process lottery ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of The Hospital for Sick Children and SickKids Foundation, and ask for their support for our mission to improve children’s health. Limitation of Liability: By purchasing a ticket, purchaser releases and holds harmless SickKids Foundation, The Hospital for Sick Children, and all of their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with 50/50 Fortune.
Governing Law: These rules and the rights and obligations and relations of the parties hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Each party hereto does hereby attorn to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Ontario.
50/50 FORTUNE
Unlimited number of tickets are available for purchase. Ticket bundles and prices are as follows: 5 for $10, 25 for $25, 100 for $50, 500 for $100. One ticket will be issued for each order placed, listing all ticket numbers issued. Ticket numbers will be randomly assigned through the electronic raffle system.
Prizes/Draws: The main prize is a single cash prize, consisting of 50 percent of all revenue generated from ticket sales. The guaranteed minimum cash prize is $100,000 and there is no maximum. The first Early Bird Prize draw will be conducted at 5:15PM EDT on November 27, 2025, consisting of one (1) pair of Ed Sheeran Tickets and $1,000 cash. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by November 27, 2025 at 5:00PM EDT. In the event of concert cancellation, the winner will instead be awarded the face value of the tickets as a cash prize ($350.00 + HST) along with the $1,000 cash prize. The second Early Bird Prize draw will be conducted at 4:15PM EDT on December 4, 2025, consisting of one (1) $2,500 redtag.ca travel voucher. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by December 4, 2025 at 4:00PM EDT. The voucher can be used toward any travel-related product available through redtag.ca, including but not limited to flights, hotels, vacation packages, car rentals, and excursions. The voucher cannot be used for online bookings and must be redeemed by contacting viptravel@redtag.ca. All travel bookings are subject to the standard terms, conditions, and availability as set out by redtag.ca. Voucher expires July 31, 2026 (no extension permitted) and is valid for departures up to December 31, 2026. By accepting this prize, the winner agrees to all terms and conditions set forth by redtag.ca. SickKids Foundation assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from the use of the voucher or services provided by redtag.ca. In the event that redtag.ca is unable to fulfill the travel voucher as described, SickKids Foundation reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternate travel voucher or gift card of equal value at its sole discretion. The third Early Bird Prize draw will be conducted at 5:15PM EDT on December 4, 2025, consisting of one (1) $4,000 cash prize. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by December 4, 2025 at 5:00PM EDT. The fourth Early Bird Prize draw will be conducted at 5:15PM EDT on December 11, 2025, consisting of one (1) $5,000 cash prize. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by December 11, 2025 at 5:00PM EDT. The final Jackpot Prize draw will be conducted at 9:15AM EDT. To be eligible, tickets must be purchased by December 18, 2025 at 8:30AM EDT.
Prize Winner Notification: The first Early Bird Prize winner will be posted to the website by 5:15PM EDT on November 27, 2025. The second Early Bird Prize winner will be posted to the website by 4:15PM EDT on December 4, 2025. The third Early Bird Prize winner will be posted to the website by 5:15PM EDT on December 4, 2025.
